Driving Change
By : Lynda C. Corpuz

Despite setbacks such as lesser time, smaller budgets, and fewer people, project managers are continuously rising up to the challenge
The facts and figures say it all. The 2008 Measuring and Improving Staff Performance study conducted by the Project Management Institute ([PMI], in cooperation with The Economist Intelligence Unit [EIU]) shows that the reported success rate for "important" project averages from 70% to 80%.
The same PMI study conducted with 591 senior executives worldwide reveals that 27% of executives believe in "standardizing" project management process as the most effective way to improve project success rates.
They also say that their company's performance suffered by up to 72% due to their employees' lack of skills.

About Us

About Us

It all began on the 16th January 1989 with our founder Pro-term Committee-President Mr. Tan Sin Hock and also with the aid from Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP). In the beginning, the first objective was to gather all the vital AIESEC information ranging from the history of AIESEC Malaysia, history AIESEC international, AIESEC Marketing knowledge, AIESEC training manuals and many more which acts as the foundation. In the year 1991, the first ever board president was Mr. Muhd Fizry Yusof as he continued the work with the establishment by his predecessors, the Pro-term Committees. The board tried its hardest in handling projects and collaborating with other Local Committees throughout Malaysia. Overall at that particular time, AIESEC in UUM was mainly focusing on making business contacts and conduct training sessions to educate its members on AIESEC knowledge. The second man on board was also none other than Mr. A.Ram Kumar as the president in the year 1992. AIESEC in UUM has its foundation of the necessary knowledge required to spearhead into the future. It was the time; AIESEC in UUM took its projects on its own, which has made its mark in activities of UUM students. Today, AIESEC in UUM still remains, still developing its youths and still contributing to the society, making the world a better place with the supports of College of Arts and Sciences in Universiti Utara Malaysia.
